About Astronauticsucd
Astronauticsucd was born in 2018 from the personal experiences of our founder, Dr. Kofi Mensah. After witnessing many of his bright university students struggle with basic financial management upon graduation, Dr. Mensah recognized a critical gap in Ghana's educational system: practical financial literacy.
Working alongside fellow educators and finance professionals, he developed a curriculum specifically tailored to the realities young Ghanaians face in today's complex financial landscape. What began as informal workshops at the University of Ghana quickly gained attention for its practical approach and measurable impact on participants' financial well-being.
By 2020, Astronauticsucd had officially incorporated as an educational organization, securing funding from the Ghana Innovation Hub and establishing our current headquarters in Osu, Accra. Over the past three years, we've expanded from in-person workshops to comprehensive online programs, reaching students and young professionals across Ghana and beyond.
Today, Astronauticsucd stands as Ghana's leading financial literacy program for young adults, having empowered over 5,000 participants to take control of their financial futures through practical education, supportive community, and accessible resources.

With over 15 years in financial education and a background in Economics from the University of Ghana and LSE, Dr. Mensah combines academic expertise with practical financial wisdom. His passion for empowering young Africans through financial literacy drives our mission forward.

Amara brings 8 years of experience in instructional design and financial planning to our team. A Certified Financial Educator, she transforms complex financial concepts into accessible, engaging learning experiences for our participants.

With a background in computer science and online education, Joshua leads our digital transformation. He has developed our online learning platform and mobile applications, making quality financial education accessible to young professionals across Africa.
